2024 | Cántame no Peito
 

Silk scarf inspired by the life and work of mezzo-soprano Teresa Berganza. The piece incorporates references to her collection of designer dresses, with allusions to the opera Carmen and the Canciones Xacobeas. 

The piece was designed for the GAC Project, a foundation that safeguards her concert wardrobe.

Work exhibited at the Sede Afundación in Santiago de Compostela in the exhibition ‘Teresa Berganza. O gardarroupa da música. Cántame no peito’ and at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid in the exhibition ‘Dunque Io Son. El guardarropa de Teresa Berganza’, both curated by Román Padín, Proyecto GAC.
