2025 | Caderno Atlántico
Caderno Atlántico is a series of silk scarves inspired by the memory and work of Manfred Gnädinger, known as Man de Camelle.
Each piece in the collection pays tribute to his creative universe and his deep connection to the sea, stone sculptures and the traces left by visitors in the notebooks of his small house on the Galician coast. The scarves evoke this intimate Atlantic landscape, recovering fragments of his life and artistic work as a way of preserving and sharing his legacy.
Silk, chosen for its lightness and durability, becomes a narrative medium: an object designed to be worn, passed on and preserved over time between generations. Beyond ornamentation, each scarf functions as a small archive of memory, keeping alive the presence of Man and his unique way of inhabiting the world.
The work as a whole takes the form of a silk triptych: a 90 × 90 cm square and two 45 × 45 cm pieces. The original ink and gouache drawings were digitised and composed using digital printing on twill silk. Printed in Spain, the pieces are finished with hand-sewn hems.
