This collection recreates some of the major events of the second half of the 19th century, when World's Fairs ushered in a new era of cultural, architectural and technological exchange.
The tour is divided into three key milestones: London 1851, as the starting point and symbol of British supremacy with the creation of the Crystal Palace; Barcelona 1888, host of these gatherings in Spain, with its monumental Arc de Triomphe and new urban projects; and Paris 1900, considered the culmination of a century of progress, with its ephemeral architecture, luminous pavilions and various inventions such as the Lohner-Porsche automobile.
Each of these events bears witness to the desire to make innovation a common heritage, reminding us that progress does not belong to a single nation, but to humanity as a whole.
